Political correctness, as well as people just being douchers, has made a return in my life yet again.  I had said less than a month ago that I was going to take a break from society, both the real world, as well as certain websites, because I need a break from it all.  Well, of all the days that I decided to jump onto FB just to look around, I posted on a friends status, and one of her friends got very butthurt about what I said, which I originally intended as a joke.  Well, this person couldn't take a little joke and pretty much got up in my face.

I also had the displeasure of trying to hang out with one of my friends this past week.  Originally, we were all having fun, until some people decided it would be fun to get shit faced.  Now, I'm not usually one to drink, and if I do, it only a beer or two and that's it.  If I have two, that's it for me.  Well, figuring I was around friends, I could cut loose a little more, and I wound up having a mixed drink, as well as a full beer and a half a cup of beer.  Well, that soon turned out to be a mistake because others were trying to convince me to get drunk, but since I was my own ride, I chose not to.  They got extremely butt hurt, calling me a wuss and shit.  I'm sorry, I don't understand the concept of getting drunk, nor do I want to.  It just doesn't sound appealing to me at all.

I think with all that's going on, I might get back into poetry and post more on the site, and stay away from the social media nightmare that is facebook.
